The Excellent Olympic Adventure: Day 7

February 18, 2010

Day 7 and Double-Hockey Day #2. Up first today will be USA-Norway...should be a good measuring stick for the States to see how they do relative to the 8-0 drubbing Canada laid on them. I'd expect about the same score...Canada basically played a two-period game against them, working jitters out in the first. USA will have 3 periods to work with.

Following that, we're back for Canada-Switzerland. Its revenge time for Turin...here's hoping the boys lay it on them hard! I'll call 5-1.

This morning, we're also going to try to swing over and get a look at the improved cauldron area. Here's hoping for a couple good pics!

Hockey sees Canada take on Switzerland. Curling has the Men with Sweden this morning, France tonight. The Women have Germany in the afternoon. Still sitting undefeated there.

Could be a big medal day today: Ladies 1000m Long-Track + Men's/Women's Skeleton. All three are possible multiple medal events for Canada.
